Not one to favor any body alterations or tattoos – however I am totally taken with the beauty of lithe elfin women such as seen in Lord of the Rings and a personal fave … T’Pol on Starship Enterprise. Jolene Blalock made this character incredible. Don’t do it to please others. You have to like yourself first. Oh yes – Julia Roberts is a great Tinkerbell in Hook.

I have ALWYAS wanted my ears pointed. To me, the body is a blank canvas, to decorate it is to fill that canvas and express who you are. Body modifications are risky, but some of the truly look beautiful — they fill that canvas. If some people don’t like them then thats their oppinion, it’s like a painting — not everyone will see the painting in the same way. What truly matters is that you like it, and you’re happy with what you’ve had done ^^

Aha! It can be done. This is something I would die to have. It expresses my inner geek and hippy at the same time. Also, it’s subtle enough that it shouldn’t screw up my career. Please people (this means you Chloe, Maria, and Meme), if this isn’t your thing then continue on you merry way and don’t try to piss off body mod enthusiasts by insulting their choices and questioning their mental state; it’s not going to get you anywhere and is completely untrue. Anyway, this is a gorgeous piece of body art and I’m definitely going to get this done at some point.

i’ve never ever wanted cosmetic surgery, i’m still really against ‘boob jobs’ or rhino plastics, they’re just really sad, people really think they need to do that….but this is awesome, fantasy cosmetic surgery isn’t just because you want to look like a media/ sexism consumer, capitalist and functionalist funding whore. no, it’s unlike the pointless obsessions with how you look to other people and feeling bad because you think you look bad, get depressed about it and feel unnaturally uncomfortable going out without make up on. because that really is pathetic. in my onion just wear clothes that are fun, maybe they’re bright or in a fantasy theme. this surgery just takes fantasy fun a step further and in my eyes there’s nothing wrong with that. so if you like vampires, sharpen your teeth, if you like the elfish look, point your ears, but don’t just want a boob job because all the tacky girls in the mass media have big boobs that’s just plain sad, think for your self, what do you like? This surgery doesn’t fund sexism or those who promote it in the mass media. It doesn’t fuel wanting to look like everybody else, how could it?! it’s really just for fun :)
