okay so its bout 2.30ish am and somethin is not right i can see the end of surface bar (the corner were it bends and makes that 90 angle) i think that puppy is going be retired. my original piercer has moved on to a diffrent state and a local piercer might not want to help me or they might charge me the same as to what it costs to get it done. So my thought is that im pretty sure they willl leave one stud on one end and pull it out slowly with a few jiggles here and there soooo the million dollar question is ....... can i pull out the surface piercing myself? i can imagine that it might hurt a tad bit more then when i got her done but ehhh a little blood wont scare me. btw i wont even look because i know that if i youtube it i will see one poor soul pulling out their own piercing, and then yes i will say "hell if he/she can do it i can do it".
Oh and yes i plan on redoing her but this time i will have a change of heart and experiment with dermal/anchor piercings and at the time being i have two surface wrist piercings and i plan on adding 1 more dermal/anchor giving it that look as on a dice of the #5. inputs are freakin awesome. thanx in advance

I would be leary of removing the piercing myself.  If you do it improperly you risk more damage than is already done.

I'd go to the shop and have one of thier minions remove it.

Thanx for the feedback but yeah I kinda went on and slipped that sucker out that same night. Did a lil homework plus found this and it gave me some insight, I know it was boo-boo to consult youtube but who else can I turn to at 4 in the morning?

All went smooth, hurt was very mild just felt funny as it came out with no blood but I can only say that me like that! After I pulled them I have gone to shops to see what they will charge for dermal/anchor and also said if they would have helped to remove them if it was not done by them and one shop said they would charge $50 to remove....wtf ?!?! The other said no because it could come back with a lawsuit  Lips sealed . It has been six days and they are healing good but i am unable to tell if it will leave a mark just yet. I will replace in about 3 weeks so we shall see. Once again many thanx yes it is possible to remove yourself but like you say for the ones that are in the dark and able to go to a shop please do so! my personal .02 cents

If I'm up at 4AM, it's likely I'm drunk.  I wouldn't be doing any body mods....

What am I saying? I do all kinds of stupid stuff when I'm drunk...

sorry... Game On!   Grin
