I'm on a new tattoo kick and was thinking of getting some small stars between my eyebrows and hairline.  What do you guys think about facial tattoos?  Should I not even be considering this?

I'm a big fan of non-conventional body modifications.  I think the idea of small stars would be cool but you need to make sure that you really want them.  Society does not accept facial tattoos at all and you might be shooting yourself in the foot when it comes to getting a job.

If it's something you feel strongly about, go for it.  But if you are just doing it on a whim cause you think it looks cute, you may want to reconsider.

I agree with scars here.

If you think for a second that you might one day regret getting your face tattooed, I suggest you don't get it tattooed at all.

Although it could be cute  Grin

I'd advise against it.

I'm on a new body art conquer and was considering getting some little celebrities between my eye-brows and hair line.  What do you people think about face tattoos?  Should I not even be considering this?

I think that a facial tattoo is a very rough commitment.  Weather you like it or not, it does carry a stigma in society and will affect your ability to get most jobs.

Unless you are already covered in tattoos, i would work towards your face but only after you've exhausted the rest of your canvas, this will also give you some time to consider the commitment more.

just my 2 cents..  Grin

I'm a big fan of non-conventional system variations.  I think the concept of little celebrities would be awesome but you need to create sure that you really want them.  Community does not take face tattoo designs at all and you might be capturing yourself in the base when it comes to getting a job.

Two things that I would say:

1) First think about what profession you currently work in and where you plan to go. If you think having a facial tattoo would affect your success now or in the future, then I would say think about getting those stars someplace else.

2) If the 1 is not an issue for you, I would wait 6 months before getting the tattoo. If you still want it, then go for it. If you are bored with the idea by then or have second thoughts then leave it.

And actually, if you are having second thoughts right now then that is a sign that you probably should wait or not get it there at all. When no one can talk you out of something, that's when you know you really want it.
