If i decide to get a black and grey tattoo, but later want to color it... Is this possible?  What will it end up looking like or am i going to be stuck with the black and grey forever?

It is possible to add color to any tattoo although a black and grey design will look odd if you just try to add color over the existing ink.  If you want a color tattoo get one from the start, if you want black and grey then you should be expecting to have it forever.

Yeah.  It's not a good idea to add color to a black and grey tattoo.  If you want a color tattoo you should get one from the start of the tattoo proccess.  Not as an afterthought.

Yes, I agree as well. I would also say that you should have a good idea of what you want before you get a tattoo. Don't second guess yourself because you may regret it later or wish you had done something different. Be pretty certain and pleased with what you want before you get it permanently inked.
