Tattoo Still Hurts After Scabs Fell Off

I had a tattoo a little over 2 weeks ago. It scabbed slightly but the last ones fell off yesterday. Since then my tattoo has burned in the same area's where the scabs were. What's going on? Is this normal?

Tattoos take about 45 days to heal completely. They can be sensitive to touch for the entire healing process. It's natural and nothing to worry about.

Agreed, it should be fine. Remember, getting a tattoo is like getting surgery - the same amount of trauma happens to the skin. It just needs more time to heal.
