I know that tattoos can be removed but is it possible to reverse scarification?  I'm guessing no?

I'm sure you could get scarification removed, but it would require some massive skin grafts which would cost thousands of dollars.  I suggest if you decide you want a scar, it's going to be there for life.

Alternately, you could always tattoo over the scar making it less prominent.

I have a friend that tattooed over some scars from a window accident when she was a kid.  She got some dragon flies and you can't even see the scars now unless you look really hard.

You guess right, once you're scarred you're scarred for life.

Over time all scarification projects will fade.  It will probably not vanish completely though.  If you have Black skin like me then you'll likely have a raised keloid scar that remains a lot more noticeable.

you cant get scars removed with out having major amounts of money and time. your best off hiding it if you regret it. but if you sitting on the fence and cant decide weather or not to get it done, don't do it till your 100% on getting scared. its a life decision. choose well.
