I'm planning a new mod, and I wish too split my upper lip in order to look more like a hare. I'm curious if anyone knows if this procedure has been done before? I'm generally interested in what complications I might expect and how long the healing time will be.

I've never heard of such a thing, although the "cat man" has a similar mod to his upper lip.

I just did an extensive google search for any type of modification that remotely resembles your idea.  I can not find any of the like.  So you will be one of the first if you go through with it.

I would imagine this is a job for a cosmetic surgeon, and would come with a hefty price tag as well.   Perhaps you should make a few calls and set up a consultation with a respected local plastic surgeon.

Let us know what info you find out.  This is incredibly interesting.
